InFlAgTiON.com - adjust prices for inflation using the historic spot price of silver

Built as a standalone static Blazor WASM App, InFlAgTiON includes a 100-year history of the actual non-inflation-adjusted spot price for silver in the united states. Using this data we can calculate the ‘equivalent buying power’ of money between two years.

The premise is if I spent $x in one year on scrap silver, and teleported to a different year, what could I sell that silver for, solely as scrap metal?
